i'd also genuinely second the recommendation of the pokemon mystery dungeons, especially if you feel like you're missing out on story in shiren. all the good gameplay is still there, just with a pokemon retheming

'mystery dungeon: shiren the wanderer' is a remake of the first shiren game; 'eye of god' is game 4 and 'tower of fortune' is game 5. i'd play the first and see how much you like the crunchiness and then play 4 and 5 afterwards

unfortunately not, i don't have a wide breadth of experience on those platforms outside of rpgs and terrible platformers. the mystery dungeons are your best bet, and that does include a couple actual shiren the wanderers. if you can homebrew, i think there's good ports of nethack and original rogue?

oops i planned to do the rest of the farming of the yokai watch stuff in ffxiv today because i thought it ended at reset tomorrow and instead it ends in two hours. rip to me at least all the level5 ai stuff really chilled any want i had to actually use the goofy weapons in glams so it's no big loss

FINALLY FINISHED!! Behold, my entry for this year's @desertbus.org : A Hollow Knight/Silksong bug mask display! The masks are made of porcelain, with some thread for Lace. I stained, varnished, and lined the wooden display cabinet myself. The masks are attached by magnets. I hope folks like it!
