I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

#ShowMeYourKnits this week is about what’s on our needles. I just visited my mom and brought each of us a skein of handspun by @paisleydefender.bsky.social to play with. We’re following the vortex recipe from the shawl book by @kateatherley.bsky.social and @indigodragonfly.bsky.social + stripes!
Two striped shawls in progress. Both use handspun in earthy colours. A lighter-weight brown and blue yarn is paired with blue Tiki wool. A thicker brown and mauve handspun is paired with dark purple Canadian wool dyed by Indigodragonfly. The shawls have the same shape but are different sizes. Cakes of yarn in the foreground show off the subtle handspun.
