Infrastructure is a mess and it looks like a hellscape. It didn’t use to be that way until he privatized the transfer station. First grievous error among many. In the 20 years I lived there I watched a special city lose everything that made it great, except for its potential and incredible people.

Morley Field and other community slights, but also the incumbent has systematically made beefs with various groups in the community. He’s invalidated widespread concerns folks have raised, he’s lied, and he’s unethical. He’s taken away/privatized service after service and the city is in shambles.

I promised myself no more suffering needlessly to finish reading any leisure books that I’m not enjoying. Here I am though, halfway through the 2nd book of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. I’m not particularly enjoying the read, but I’m enjoying the story. Feels like one I need to see through.
