I promised myself no more suffering needlessly to finish reading any leisure books that I’m not enjoying. Here I am though, halfway through the 2nd book of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. I’m not particularly enjoying the read, but I’m enjoying the story. Feels like one I need to see through.

A week for tying up loose ends, quite literally. Finished seaming the wretchedly tortuous granny square sweater I tried my hand at, despite not loving to crochet garments (request of my Auntie). Started mending a sleep eye mask. And blocked my Aran sweater and will start seaming that once dry. 🫥

I was in my late 40s early 50s when I learned to cast off some very long held convictions. It is amazing what you can find when you open your mind to new thoughts. Amazing what wonderful things seep in. I find as I age, I really know very little.
