To the foreigners who insist on posting on #travelblog, Facebook groups or #YouTube and commenting on posts stating "Myanmar is safer than london or European cities" Tell me, do you run the risk of being caught in an airstrike in London? Do you face the chance of arbitrary detainment and torture for a Facebook post about a dictatorship in any European city?

Do you face checkpoints and forced conscription, do you see villages and people being burned alive, do you risk stepping on landmines placed to torment civilians, do you risk contagious disease from flood waters or dying from awd or cholera because waste water is surrounding you with no way to evacuate, do you have any idea what people here face daily?

Obviously not otherwise you wouldnt say such an idiotic and blatantly disrespectful and ignorant statement.

The reality of #myanmar is this, #bloggers and #contentcreator's can try and whitewash /fuel the junta propaganda machine, but it doesn't change reality, me and my teams, as well as so many other groups are left picking up literal pieces- pieces of victims or homes destroyed. And we will never stop being angry about it.
