Quite a messy little scene in this Balearic woodland. But, when exploring I felt this view was like a stage with its many drop down layers of scenery from front to back, with soft light falling on the distant tree. I could just imagine actors/characters walking between them. #photography #Leica

The textures and patterns on opposite sides of the lovely dividing line.

The great contrasting tones between land and sea with the soft curves in the movement of the waves.

The stunning eye and beak jumped out with lovely textures of the birds head.

Loved the detail of the daisy, the yellows in the flowers head pairing so nicely with the background tones.

Went out on a run to contemplate and I assumed I’d come back to announce one of the big colourful landscapes as the #sharemondays2026 winner. But I’m not. Such a dramatic landscape but such a gentle image. Lovely composition.

Unconventional composition but this really works for me. The white band of water in contrast to the black verticals makes it stand out.

Beautifully delicate, I like this very much.

We’ve all had a go at this composition but this is a lovely image considering the blue-sky weather Mark had to contend with!
