After yesterday's eclipse, I decided to head out to try to photograph the meteor shower. I saw lots but photographing them was challenging - I'm not sure if I got any. However, I did enjoy trying to photograph the milky way as a backdrop to my favourite photographic subject - trees. #PhotoRippin

It was surprisingly chilly first thing yesterday morning (7 degrees C). Esthwaite Water in the Southern Lake District was shrouded in mist, but as it lifted the landscape began to appear and the temperatures rose, making way for another beautiful day. #LakeDistrict #OPOTY #PhotoRippin
