Norovirus = NO fun 🤮 Had it in 2018 from a hospitalized pt. The vomiting was worse than morning sickness (can confidently say that 2 pregnancies later) but thankfully hubby took all precautions and didn’t catch it! Wash hands THOROUGHLY (sanitizer not enough) and bleach everything possible 🧼

#ItMe - 2yo had bad URI so missed the entire last week of school. She then gave it to hubby but I survived until sx started today (still made it through a full clinic day 😷) Even if it’s not covid or flu, lots of other nasty viruses out there so #MaskUp in public and stay home if sick!

#PedSky appreciation post: Dr. Weyand’s posts are why I now check ferritin/CRP for every anemia screen (w CBC + retic)! I’ve caught so many w single digit ferritin levels even if Hgb is “normal” 😱 It’s also an issue in “picky eaters” even if they’re not menstruating
