Any ID experts that can weigh in? I preferred the Novavax vaccine last year for my family (less side effects, especially for one teenage son), but I just heard they aren’t coming out with a new formulation this fall. Any opinions on getting last year’s version again this fall? #covidvaccine

This is the same response I get from parents of newborns, too, because everyone is VERY AWARE of how bad RSV can be especially for young infants. Too bad personal memories of diseases like polio, measles, diphtheria, Hib from our grandparents & great-grandparents aren’t in anyone’s memory anymore.
