Physician moms getting their babies an early MMR vaccine (usually reserved for international travel) before flying around the USA is next-level 2025. And yes, an early dose of MMR between 6-12 months is safe & recommended in high-risk situations. Measles lives for 2 hours in the air.

I’m a pediatrician. This is both terrifying & infuriating. Without healthcare coverage during pregnancy/childhood, American women and babies will die. We already have the highest maternal and infant mortality rates among developed nations. This is NOT making America Healthy Again. 🤬

Look at that little cluster of Peds subspecialties on the right side. Not surprising, since doctors completing these fellowships work extremely hard for 2-4 years to be paid LESS than many general pediatricians. We need to improve pay parity for our pediatric subspecialists!
