Description
Fungus is fascinating: from the "wood-wide web" of mycelial networks, to the new psychedelic boom, to the fears of living decay and zombification, humans cannot get enough. There's likely more fiction written about mushrooms and molds than nonfiction, but science is catching up to science fiction. Let's talk about the real science, the fun fantasy, and the imagined horrors of these organisms that are already inside you.

Renan Bernardo gifted these lovely words about T. K. Rex's THE WILDCRAFT DRONES. "Wealthy people seem to be reading dystopias as rulebooks ... Instead, I'd say for people to read The Wildcraft Drones as a rulebook of how to live in community and find a healthy path to our future." Thanks, Renan!
"The Wildcraft Drones is a brilliant glimpse into a future we desire. T. K. Rex's prose is magnificent and her characters feel real all the time. The stories in this collection are varied and encompass a wide spectrum of climate fiction and solarpunk, but what they hold in common is a lingering feeling of hope and resistance. You can read this collection just for fun, but you will be getting much more than fun: a sense of climate justice and of shared humanity. Some wealthy people seem to be reading dystopias as rulebooks of how to run the world. Instead, I'd say for people to read The Wildcraft Drones as a rulebook of how to live in community and find a healthy path to our future."
