I have been thinking about this graph all day. It definitively proves that the Atari 2600 is better than a TI-85 calculator, which is better than the Nintendo 64, which is better than the Magic 8 Ball, which is better than all LLMs. My new graph will have to be logarithmic scale.

Tangentially, this is another example of how misogyny (like all bigotry) makes people's brains smooth. Calling this a "false binary" gives it too much credence, there's no substance here beyond the misogyny. If you think the AI pessimists are right, there are many other paths available, such as:
