That was a fun little show. At the local music and arts festival Billy Joe Armstrong's cover band, The Coverups, put on a 2 hour show of cover songs. From We Got The Beat to Crazy Train to a couple of Ramones song with a Ramone. Oh, and the price of admission was $0, which fits my budget.

My daughter is visiting home from college. She has asked to go to a music and art festival happening in a neighboring town. The headline act is The Coverups which a band that does covers of rock and punk songs. The lead singer is…Billie Joe Armstrong? huh…apparently he grew up in this town.
