In the Western World? Probably the Mona Lisa. Of course, it has time on its side, too. Just the number of bad think pieces about what her smile means, or even if she *is* smiling, is just ridiculous. Then there's if she's attractive or not, who she might be, why is the painting so small, etc.

This is a great thread, & reporters deserve to get paid. But.... 1. Critical info often gets paywalled, so few can access it. 2. People who want to subscribe can't, because no one can afford a paid subscription to everything. 3. People are afraid their info will be sold or they'll be spammed.

I think we need politicians after the midterms to go pretty hard at corporate media for being uninterested in the lives of ordinary Americans and by the 2030 election we need Jeff Bezos to be so afraid of what we've done to Elon Musk that he ends up doing what historians call a "Triple Carnegie"
