Most breathtakingly cynical move? Kenney ran a kamikaze candidate and became UCP leader in an election that involved voter fraud. Then he was replaced by Danielle Smith who dumped the Wildrose and crossed the floor to join the Conservatives.
The guy who broke BC's economy is now breaking the law in a sneaky and cynical attack on democracy.

He's forcing an election two years ahead of the legislated date purely to exploit a pending leadership change in the main opposition party. It's the most breathtakingly cynical move I have ever seen in Canadian politics.

Hopefully BC voters will demonstrate that they refuse to be manipulated by punishing Eby and his incompetent, ideologically obsessed government.

"A feminist is anyone who recognizes the equality and full humanity of women and men." Thank you for dedicating your life to the fight for women's equality and humanity--it took vision, leadership, and a whole lot of courage. Goodnight and godspeed, Gloria Steinem. 🕯️
A striking black-and-white photograph of Gloria Steinem (March 25, 1934 - September 2, 2026), the iconic journalist, social activist, and leading figure of the second-wave feminist movement. Captured mid-speech at a microphone, she projects a determined, passionate expression with her lips parted, looking slightly off-camera. Her signature long, voluminous hair frames her face, and she wears her recognizable wire-rimmed aviator glasses alongside a dark turtleneck sweater. A small, round button featuring a symbol rests near her collar. The microphone stands prominently in the foreground on the right. In the blurred background, a banner displays partially visible block letters reading "NF A," adding to the activist atmosphere. At the bottom, a commemorative text overlay reads "Gloria Steinem 1934 – 2026," honoring her lifelong legacy of advocating for gender equality, reproductive freedom, and systemic social change. The composition feels intimate and powerful, capturing her enduring spirit as a trailblazing champion for human rights.
