Cars and trucks regularly dropping these on the road cannot be good. I hit this with a car tonight (heard it smack the underside) and then found it on the road. For bike riders it could be and has been lethal.

Larissa Waters tried accommodation and was rewarded with the bastardry of the “offset for koalas” deal. It’s time to admit that Labor, LNP and One Nation are all on the same side, and that we need a pro-planet, pro-humanity, anti-Trump alternative.

I’ve always favoured the idea of an informal Labor-Greens coalition. But at least with Albanese in charge, that’s not going to happen. He’d much rather deal with the LNP (or, if push comes to shove, One Nation). Adam Bandt tried bargaining hard, and was successfully demonised.

UK shares findings of damning climate crisis national security report suppressed under Starmer
El Niño poses critical threat to nations’ defences, says Ed Miliband in presentation to global foreign ministers The UK has warned countries around the world that the climate and nature crises and the coming El Niño threaten their national security and defence, presenting foreign ministries with the findings of an explosive report suppressed under Keir Starmer. Ed Miliband, the foreign secretary, made a presentation to the foreign ministers of the EU as well as Kenya and other countries on Wednesday night at a private meeting during the UN general assembly in New York, based on the report by the UK’s spy chiefs that found the collapse of natural systems around the world would lead to conflict, migration and food shortages. Chinese cars are taking over Britain's roads. Their share of the UK's new car market has doubled over the past year as customers are lured by their advanced software and relatively cheap price tag. Chinese cars “sell themselves”, says one dealer. Read the story on #FTEdit 👉 ft.trib.al/BTyhIAB
Six charts show the rapid expansion of Chinese car brands’ UK dealership networks from July 2024 to July 2026. BYD and Omoda Jaecoo have the largest networks, reaching roughly 140 dealerships, while Leapmotor and newer entrants Chery, Changan and Geely have also expanded quickly.

Open Society Foundations were founded by George Soros, who, according to the organization, has given them more than $32 billion of his personal fortune since 1984.

The documented chain is real, but must be described precisely: Soros founded and financed Open Society; Open Society granted hundreds of thousands of dollars to Local Call; and NAZA, according to its directors, draws partly on investigations published by Local Call, +972 Magazine, and The Guardian.
