Now, to make this even more confusing and frustrating, Dosbox-X can save the mapper file (Flatpak default is ~/.var/app/com.dosbox_x.DOSBox-X/config/dosbox-x/mapper-dosbox-x.map ) and it has it's own set of (SDL2) conventions x_x

Most of the keys, even most of the function keys, are the same... but there's enough of a diff that there shold be a specific keyboard map used when "-machine tandy" is used.

Then, on a hunch, I looked up the Tandy 1000 SX service manual archive.org/details/Tand... and checked the keyboard codes (what values are sent to the computer when you press a given key). It turns out some of these (cf. the function keys!) differ from what e.g. Linux uses github.com/torvalds/lin...

A problem I've noticed is that pressing F12 doesn't seem to be detected in-game. At first, I thought this was because F12 is used as a "host key" (does special things with other keys in Dosbox-X), but it's still a no even after explicitly changing it...
