Rosemary pull-apart buns for our neighborhood supper tonight!
A dozen or so dinner buns in a foil-lined plate. The buns are squarish, brown on top and white where they were pulled apart from their neighbor buns, and brushed with parsley/garlic butter, so lots of green specks

If you’ve ever worked a 40-hour week, earned overtime or collected Social Security, you should know Frances Perkins. As FDR’s Labor Secretary, she helped build protections workers still rely on today and was the first woman to serve in a U.S. Cabinet. Remember her name. 🇺🇸 #SheShed #VivaHerAlliance
Vintage TIME magazine cover featuring Frances Perkins seated at a desk, wearing a hat and dark coat. The black-and-white portrait is framed by TIME’s classic red border. Text beneath reads “FRANCES PERKINS (1933) Architect of the New Deal.”

Fine Arts building: this painting was like standing before a shrine. Everyone silently taking it in. Only art conveys what words cannot.
A large painting depicting elements of Metro Surge in Minneapolis. Clockwise from top left: the Whipple detention center, protesters, Alex Pretti in the moments before he was murdered, Renee Good's car surrounded by caution tape, legal observers silhouetted in a mist, silent protesters in Handmaid's Tale red dress, and signage of resistance. In the center a rising loon set against a burning orange sun holding the State flag of MN and an upside down American flag in its beak. On its back is a pattern forming a flipped peace sign (no peace?) and at its feet is a disintegrating swastika.

#SkySunday #StunDay Good morning friends and happy Sunday! It’s cloudy and cool this morning but hopefully the sun will shine later. Here’s an archive of a storm rolling into our area recently. Have a great day and get some fresh air if you can. #landscape #photography #reflections
An early afternoon view of clouds rolling in before the rain came. The water is semi calm reflecting the sky and landscape.

AI is a trap. It will sometimes give you great accurate info so your brain thinks it can rely on it and when you’re in a rush, you just skip some of the checks. But it’s just a pattern guessing tool and people need to stop believing AI KNOWS anything. Disappointing that Hank Green fell for it.

"In the crane's dance, there is a story of balance—between the earth and the sky, between the past and the future.” Traditional Native American Proverb Sandhill Cranes #Photography #Photo #WildlifePhotography #NaturePhotography #Birds #Nature #Wildlife
Two majestic Sandhill Cranes stand close together in the shallow, reflective water of a marsh. Their long, slender necks are grey, topped with distinct bright red crowns on their heads and long, sharp black beaks. Their large bodies are covered in textured feathers of rich, rusty brown and warm tan tones. They wade in front of a dense, lush bank of tall green and golden marsh grasses, their dark legs submerged as their shapes mirror softly in the calm water.
