The current situation in Saudi Arabia is pretty dire. The Houthis successfully targeted the east-west pipeline that supplied up to 7m barrels of oil/day to avoid the strait of Hormuz. The Houthis are rapidlt advancing on the Bab Al-Mandab strait and could block shipping traffic there soon.

LeBron fits really well in Philly. Him and Embiid being the starting bigs means Dean Wade will probably be getting big minutes and lots of starts. Beyond those three their big man depth is 3 centers who are 24 or under and a G league graduate on a non guaranteed deal.

For the record, MLB pays *less* than NFL/NBA/NHL as a percentage of revenue. I took the latest year we have confirmed revenue (2024, $12.4b), added up the value of the payrolls of every team that year (just over $5b). 40.39% is what I got. Capped leagues guarantee around 50%
