The impatience to pedestrians is so frustrating, especially in pedestrian-dense areas! Like, if you are driving downtown, THERE WILL BE A LOT OF PEDESTRIANS (as there should be!!). You are the dummy that decided to drive, so, you have to wait.

I hate not trusting any vehicle, but, I depend on my body and don't want it to get hurt! So, I personally rely on the "pedestrian-responsibility" model, which takes the onus off the tonnes-of-metal-killing-machines, unfortunately. I do like how it makes me a very pedestrian/bike-focused driver, tho.

The number of times on my runs I see drivers looking at their phones THE ENTIRE TIME they are within my view... I also refuse to cross in front of a car until I make eye contact ... and that can sometimes take an embarrassingly (and horrifically) long time. I've had to knock on a few windows.
