Despite Mars supposedly being the point of all he does, Musk never talks about *Mars*. No curiosity about its history, no talk about new scientific discoveries from the rovers, no sense of beauty or wonder, nothing he longs to see or experience. It's an object to use, nothing more

I was formatting one of the articles in the "War Stories" TF zine I'm working on and Red Dwarf was mentioned then before I knew it...this happened. #art
"Smegatron" an interpretation of the ship "Red Dwarf" (of the BBC show of the same name) as a transformer. The Red Dwarf is a squat red heaxagonal ship that forms a point at one end and a large, funnel-like engine at the other. The pointed end had a series prongs extending from each side of the hexagon that extend to almost double the length of the ship. A large asteroid is lodged into the side of the ship.

Smegatron himself is a large, bulky, red robot with yellow eyes, the asteroid lodged in his lower abdomen, the prongs now placed on his back.

Smegatron is accompanied by the headmaster "Smeghead," a smaller robot who transforms into the head of Smegatron.

This has been keeping me busy as the release date approaches, a fanzine collating accounts of growing up with Transformers the Movie and G1 in general, put together by @clementnickel.bsky.social ‬ Here's the cover that I've done, I've also done art and comics for the interior too.
Illustation of Kup emphatically telling a story by a campfire surrounded by a collection of other transformers. In the background is Devastor (a bright green and purple transformer comprised of multiple construction vehicles) so large that he is mostly cropped out of frame. Shockwave, Blaster, Springer and Arcee sit to the left. On the right Soundwave, Swoop, Wheelie, Rumble (or Frenzy depending on who you ask) Grimlock, Hot Rod and Daniel (in his exosuit) are sat. In the forground are Cyclonus, Steeljaw and Slug (Or Slag, depending who you ask.) If you look carefully in the Background, you can see Snarl peeking out from behind a metal boulder. High in the sky is Unicron's disembodied head, orbiting like a moon.
