If you don't know what a cowboy was, in 19th century South America a vaquero was kind of a shepherd but for cattle. Really dumb, often unemployable otherwise. The US adopted the model for a short time because it was cheap, using the mocking term 'cowboy' for the dozy losers who did that easy work.

I considered myself pretty attuned and aware, for a guy, but MeToo just opened my eyes. Every woman I know has been abused, molested, or assaulted. And my first reaction was 'I mean ... what are we counting?' and they describe their experience and I run screaming going 'that counts'.
