Ahh man, that's heartbreaking seeing Renee in front of the incredible away support. She's clearly devastated.

Really enjoyed that race today, so many twists and turns. Even if having to strap in for the long haul.

Just saw that story reported about us ruling out significant expansion of the stadium. Was it ever really a goer regardless, was always just people speculating and over inflating what Josh actually said right?

The owners literally do not care about football and it’s starting to feel like throwing the toys out of the pram/bruised ego. I’m starting to wonder if City fans care about football since they stopped even turning up for the Cup finals and they’ve eaten up the propaganda

The owners, employees, sponsors (owners again) and, from what I’ve seen, many of the fans of Man City seem intent on destroying football if they are taken down for a decade and a half of destroying football. Fold em and fuck em.

Someone said once that James Acaster should play Jarvis Cocker in a biopic. Could never unsee it looks wise since they said it.

Clarkey @clarkeysean.bsky.social · 01/10/2026
Acaster out first then, that’s a shame. But hey, dangers of having so many big names. Him and Gamble on the aftershow will be fun. I can’t see them not recruiting Amol.

Amol is coming across a bit smug, not sure how to take him. Sure it’s the edit as seems a good guy in the build up.

Also, this ‘trump card’ some are trying to deflect with about how Mikel was at Etihad, so he should be punished. Oh dear, take away his Etihad medals; he’ll post them back. But seriously what involvement would he have as a coach? Only thing would be him being a leaker and witness against them 😂

Another random Etihad ponder. I have noticed some Scum fans pushing for a punishment as soon as possible, which is fair. But also, is that because that's a way to save themselves from potential relegation?

You know on Burnham, wasn't he saying how Manchester United should not be State Owned when Qatar were after them? I may have made this up and misremembering. But well yeah. Former Manchester Mayor you'd expect with good relations with Mansoor/etc with all the infrastructure they have invested in.

We can now look forward to a long appeal process, I know. But we can also say, now, "Manchester City, who were found guilty of 114 charges..." every time we mention the club's name; and I believe we should. No more "allegations". They were found guilty, and that is a fact.

Another funny thing to chuck, remember when Chelsea let Etihad get away with a settlement for Maresca and sighted their ‘special relationship’ with them. When them handling themselves in, could have ‘Catch Me If You Can’ style helped the PL catch out Etihad? (lot of stretching on my part obviously)

Clarkey @clarkeysean.bsky.social · 25/09/2026
I just heard a fair point too, Etihad were not cooperating with the process. So will they now be open and open their books properly when appealing? Clowns.

All well and good City being found guilty of almost all the charges but the punishment is the key thing here not to mention the can(s) of worms it opens. Gutting to finish second to them but what about the team(s) that missed out on Champions league money? Or got relegated? It’s a mess.

It’s analogous to Lance Armstrong. His name is gone from the record books there was no winner in the years he “won” the TdF There are many careers of other riders that were destroyed by him and his team Even just a single stage win once can change a riders life Nothing can be done about those lads

Someone else may have raised it too, but we’re obviously thinking about how them cheating has affected us understandably. But there’s also the whole rabbit hole of teams missing Europe, that were relegated etc.

The investigations/charges only go up to 2018 but make no mistake: everything - absolutely everything - that City have done in the years since was built on the foundations of these breaches as well. And everything they continue to do in the coming years. There is no separating these things.
