Traffic calming measures in residential roads appear to be anecdotally more prevalent in better off areas. I suspect because the residents are more able to force the council into action.

I think the dislike of Arsenal from other fans is historical and is based in racism. We had a lot of black players from the 80s onwards and a big non-white fan base. This was at a time when racism was rife within football fan bases in England. It’s not a recent thing.

Very interesting lecture yesterday from Darby Elliot, who retired from football at Borussia Mönchengladbach after two ACL injuries. Much more to be done on injuries in female athletes, but the clubs are schools need to be doing more on injury prevention programmes in my opinion.
