I built a tool that aggregates all the headlines across the Arsenal men's, women's, and academy teams plus top social posts and podcasts to make keeping track of everything easier. It made sense to make it an email so I could read it wherever I wanted. Now you can get it too if you want it.

The "think of the jobs and investment we'd lose" argument for City really breaks down when you use it in other contexts. Apply it to dictatorships. Nope. Crony capitalism? Nah. Illegal drug dealers? Nyet. Hmm... seems like it doesn't apply at all when the underlying feature is corruption & crime.

CleoPatrick Vieira is returning to European football! After two years destroying teams in the UAE league for fun, Elneny is back on the continent with a one-year contract at Greek club Levadeiakos. No word yet if the box-to-box midfielder will be joined by both his wives. Welcome back legend.

Been thinking quite a bit about the differences between one nation state that runs a club that plays by the rules and another that doesn't. City would be more like Newcastle if they'd played by the rules & I think most old City fans wouldn't have minded that one bit.

If you haven't seen this yet, go watch it. It's on r/mcfc. Dude doesn't blink for 3 minutes and looks like he's being held hostage. Decent chance the Club leadership flees the country within the next 24 hours. It's bad and they know it.

First they bribed half our team with illegal funds. Then they robbed us of what this man was capable of creating with a talented team. Then they inspired idiots at AFTV to shout about being like them and divide our fanbase. Then they laughed at us for doing things the right way. Fuck City Forever.

Who is redacted in Paragraph 70? Short block of text that has to be Sheik Mansour. No other potential fit I can find. IMO, p70 is possibly a politically-motivated inclusion. Save face for Mansour who can throw everyone else under the bus. Maybe leave door open for him to continue owning City.

Manchester City has made a laughingstock of the Premier League. We've all known it for years but now it's been irrefutably proven. What choice does the Premier League have at this point but to delete the club from existence?

City signed Abu Dhabi sponsorship deals at inflated fees. The sponsors paid a fraction of the fee & ADUG paid the rest. The club booked all of it as commercial revenue. £950m recorded revenue against £119m in real money over nine seasons. Then they hid pay and costs the same way in reverse.

Every City title from 2011/12 to 2017/18 was won by a club that was willfully ignoring the rules it signed up to, by a lot, every year. The commission's phrase is "clearly intended to circumvent." That's intent, not error. City are an absolute disgrace to the league, football, and sport.

May 2013. A £20m surprise liability put City £9.9m short of UEFA FFP just six days before year end. Within days the club generated amended sponsor agreements "without AD Sponsors even being approached," including bonuses for events that had already happened.

Jesus. From 2011/12 through 2015/16, City's sponsors paid a flat £16m every year while the recorded fee climbed from £86.75m to £136.17m. By 2017/18 the sponsors paid £11m against £145.73m on the books. Outright. Blatant. Fraud.

The Premier League ain't holding back. Nor should they when City artificially inflated revenues "by more than £900 million during the affected period." Manchester City have until Oct 2 to appeal. This is about to get really tasty.

Was this done on purpose so City could drop a casual £450 million on players this summer in preparation for a transfer ban or is it just incompetence? Hard to believe the latter when the panel's processes had been nearly airtight up until then. Remember this when the punishment is announced.

Manchester City were first informed that they had been found guilty of more than 100 breaches of the Premier League's financial rules in the summer, sources told ESPN, before spending heavily in the transfer market.

Dear City fans, Your club has been found guilty of 114 charges. Not if. Not maybe. Not possibly. Guilty on 114 of 115 charges. Period. Full Stop. You didn't break the law yourself and as a fellow football fan, I can see how and why you defended your club. It's natural. But that time is over.

Fair play to Arsenal skipper Martin Ødegaard's father, he refused an offer from a law firm to set up an offshore company in a tax haven to manage his son's image rights when Martin signed for Real Madrid, saying everyone should pay taxes. 🔴⚪

I love Arsenal (obviously) and plan to keep watching them for years to come, but if the Premier League doesn't drop the hammer on City, how can we have confidence in future results? If rules aren't followed & cheaters aren't punished, can I honestly continue caring about a compromised competition?

My club, the league, and the beautiful game were cheated out of fair results for nearly 20 years. What Manchester City has done is a fucking disgrace & it will remain that way until the end of time. I'm obsessed with making sure everyone knows this in hopes it prevents it from ever happening again.

The amount of City fans saying they had to cheat to even compete is unreal. FFP & PSR were put in place because Abrahamovic broke the system and tightened because City took it to the next level. Dozens of clubs participated in the Premier League during this time & didn't have to "cheat to compete"

The league will be considering the harm it would do to their brand, the sponsor brands, etc to send a multi-title champion packing in disgrace. Every replay, every clip, every player & manager from that time period will forever live in disgrace. I doubt the league is willing to live with that.

Honestly, I think this City finding will result in a forced sale of the club with minimal punishment to ease ownership transition aka the Chelsea Model I hate it but there's precedent for it. It punishes a bad actor, lets the league off the hook with a meaningful action & keeps their money flowing.

I'd rather City get obliterated than we get retroactive titles. Sure, it'd be nice on paper but their blatant cheating and corruption robbed us and fans of other clubs from incredible moments of joy, years of happiness, and the happiness that comes with knowing a competition isn't rigged.

Textbook example of a hip drop tackle - illegal in the NFL with players that do it subject to hefty fines because it's so dangerous. It would be the easiest thing in the world for football reffing bodies to look at what's illegal in more violent sports and update rules & punishments based on that.
