Long shot but London medical people - can anyone help? Mara knows a German student in London who urgently needs a prescription that they can only get in a hospital. They went to a GP and have been given a referral two weeks from now, but that's too long to wait.

Very interesting, but debatable take. In global terms, despite the glut of titles*, Man City are now tainted to such an extent that their commercial value will have nosedived anyway; and it's not as if the PL would suddenly lose its main/only locomotive, like Serie A did when Juve were demoted.

They should've, but we should also loudly protest our partnership with we never have. We never had a real protest for Visit Rwanda, nor against Thomas Partey. A lot of Arsenal fans wanted Usmanov. It's them but it could've been us or any other club. It's pathetic. It's past time to wake up.

Also actually the suffering for any football fans pales in comparison to people who are victims of human rights abuses in the UAE, or of the gross violence carried out by UAE-backed forces in the Horn of Africa. That’s what this sports-washing exercise ultimately helps sustain.

Listening to Lineker say City fans are "ultimately the people that suffer from this" and I completely get what he means - yes, they will suffer, but: 1) For almost 20 years they have only benefitted; everyone else in the game has suffered. 2) Let it be a lesson: PROTEST YOUR CORRUPT OWNERS!

My daughter has reached the point where she can 'read' along the books I read to her in bed word for word, and sing along with the songs I use to sing her to sleep. It's really sweet, until you realise she's doing it to keep herself awake and we've been there for two hours.

£900m of fraud up to 2018. With inflation, £900m in 2008 is £1.5bn today. Or take the end date: £900m in 2018 is £1.2bn today.

Pretty sure Arsenal's 49-game unbeaten run (and the unbeaten season) and 55-game run of scoring in every game are the only records left untouched by Abramovich's Chelsea and Guardiola's City? Arsène Wenger. Out of reach.

When Manchester City return to Premier League action next month, what will their games mean? Title contenders, fighting against relegation or an utter irrelevance? The league’s present, like its past, has been warped beyond repair.

English football can punish Manchester City for violations, but can Premier League ever recover what was lost?
An appeal will delay any immediate sanctions, but a guilty verdict on 114 charges leaves 17 years of trophies, title races and rivals like Liverpool and Arsenal trapped in an existential fog

The investigations/charges only go up to 2018 but make no mistake: everything - absolutely everything - that City have done in the years since was built on the foundations of these breaches as well. And everything they continue to do in the coming years. There is no separating these things.

Excellent analysis. There is no sugarcoating what is happening here in Germany. Most of the political centre is enabling if not actively supporting the rise of fascism. The Left‘s remarkable performance in the Berlin elections is not being heralded as an earthquake but treated as a threat.

Before Saturday, Arsenal had not trailed by two goals in any of their last 72 Premier League games. The last time it happened (at Bournemouth) they played an hour with 10-men after William Saliba was sent off.
