I'm reminded of coming out of The Fifth Element years ago and hating it, because I'd gone in expecting a Bruce Willis action film and got... not that. Now it's one of my favourite films because I know what it was trying to do and how spectacularly it succeeded. I think Digger is of the same kind.

I can understand why a lot of people didn't like Digger, and I think a lot of that is because it's a very hard film to market, but my God, it is fantastic. I loved it from start to finish.

This raises some serious questions as to the extent to which the BBC present digitally altered images as reality. This may just be a show about dancing but what policies do the BBC have in place so that this doesn't occur during it's news broadcasts.

We've been trying to buy a house for years and we've seen the prices respond to every "assistive" measure in real time. It doesn't help the buyer. It's a sly way to give more public taxes to developers. The most importan lever to bring prices down long-term is building social housing.
