my ps5 pro has been randomly turning on for days and i was getting kinda stressed because they’re very expensive to replace now but it turns out that this criminal has decided that the cables/old peripherals/misc. bin in the closet is her new bed and she was turning it on via a spare controller

another experience I had with a very different kind of exercise: about a decade ago I studied Muay Thai, and the warmup at the beginning of every class was VERY intense. I remember how surprised I was when the teacher actually told us to take a break if it was too much. you mean that's allowed??

yes, and related: I always say one of the things I love about yoga is how individual it is, in the sense that a pose I struggle with might be easy for someone else, and vice versa. it really highlights how everyone's body is different, and of course a good teacher will acknowledge that

also worth noting that we have this (modern) idea of "exercise" as a discrete category of physical activity, which is seen as both virtuous and inherently beneficial. not coincidentally, it's usually the things that require leisure (and often, money)
