Casey Ho @caseyho.com · 25/04/202510% is likely the floor in this case, as somewhere between 5 and 7% have already been taken down. So higher. 020
Casey Ho @caseyho.com · 24/04/2025Let me know if you find all the off label Wordle clones. I ended up implementing a rule to exclude all those posts from analysis to keep them from clogging up my reports, heh. 020
Casey Ho @caseyho.com · 23/04/2025This one has been on the list for a while. There is (was?) a whole cluster of accounts with the same persona all doing the exact same bit in various languages. 020
Casey Ho @caseyho.com · 21/04/2025It depends on what "verification" represents. Ask multiple people and you will get different answers in response. Also, the social graph is not part of the core protocol. 190

Casey Ho @caseyho.com · 20/04/2025@xblock.aendra.dev classifies those sorts of images. And if you read through Aendra'a posts, you'll quickly get a sense of why image classification is exceptionally difficult. Imo, it isn't just about the compute required- there's also the overhead of dealing with erroneous classifications. 040

This is important because it means that very active fake accounts (often hundreds of accounts controlled by one person or organization) can easily dominate conversations, creating the illusion of consensus or popularity. 1/2 1237
Casey Ho @caseyho.com · 19/04/2025You're absolutely right about this. There are a fairly significant number of people who are engagement farming with tools on their otherwise normal accounts. And at least one new tool pops up every week. 020
Casey Ho @caseyho.com · 19/04/2025It's very difficult to analyze the numbers without first separating follows from starter packs from regular follows. I recommend treating them separately for the purposes of analysis. 100

Casey Ho @caseyho.com · 09/04/2025As of right now some but not all of these accounts are currently on my moderation list, due to safeguards that are in place to prevent a single network from overloading the setup I use to maintain the list. They will eventually all be added. 4246

Thus far, the purpose of these accounts is unclear. 40706283

Casey Ho @caseyho.com · 06/04/2025Honda is the gold standard. However, for the price of a Honda it is possible to buy 2-3 generators of a lesser tier. I prefer redundancy over a single point of failure so I use a lesser brand as a backup. If prices haven't already gone sideways, buy new. It's never fun to debug a used generator. 030
