One more thing on the Harry Potter discourse. I think we should examine J.K. Rowling as a case of someone who started out good and went bad. She had empathy for people on the margins of society, for the outsiders, for the systemically oppressed, and then lost it. What can we learn from that?

Just finished #FourthWing. Predictable and trope-y, but also creative and engaging. I enjoyed the dragon lore and world setting, and the characters feel unique and identifiable with reasonably clear motivations/rationale.

In Bell, CA an entire community stood up against ICE, including the local police and the fire dept. The fire truck appears to not allow ICE vehicles to move forward nor remain and pushes forward to escort them out. A police car also helped with escorting. /

Movie genre is based on colour; If it's green it's science fiction, if it's blue it's crime, if it's yellow it's action, if it's saturated it's romance/comedy, if it's desaturated it's drama. It's that easy. If you change the colour of the movie you also change the genre. I don't make the rules.
