Hi there, and welcome to #FridayFucksorSucks, a weekly game with simple rules. This week, the Stoeger Double Defense. A space cowboy double barreled 12 gauge, it has black polymer furniture with picatinny rail all around. They are still sold as both side by side and over-under shotguns factory new.

The gun from the side looks like what it is - a very traditional double barrel side-by-side design that has picatinny rail strapped to the top and the bottom.

The side-by-side variant allows for a red dot and a light to be mounted.

The over-under model has three pic rail strips available, one on top and one on each sides allowing for lasers and lights. Beyond that, it is a very simple and reliable operating system with a very slow reloading process.

The side-by-side guns have the disadvantage of none of the barrels lining up with the optic properly. The over-under models the barrels lining up with the picatinny rail, however having the top rail equipped means the front sight is now near useless.

Hi there, and welcome to #FridayFucksorSucks, a weekly game with simple rules: guns fuck, or they suck. This week, the USFA Zip 22. Chambered in .22 and fed by Ruger magazines, it's ultra-compact design was intended to be a cheap fun pistol as well as a "less lethal" option when mounted to a rifle.

The design was entirely polymer and, with the ten round flush mounted magazine, not easy to understand how the user was meant to hold it.

The gun was at least easier to manipulate if you used one of the extended banana magazines as the magazine would suddenly become a grip of sorts.

Working the gun's charging handle is arguably unsafe as you have to put your hand very close to the barrel and pull.

The gun was sold with a picatinny adapter as the intention was to mount it underneath a firearm and use it as an additional weapon for situations like prisons where .22 would be considered acceptably less lethal.

Part two is incoming as soon as I can get it together but take a look at this the amount of work put into it is kind of hard to sum up it's thousands of hours of animating, painting, writing music, and genuinely pouring my heart and soul into.
