I really don't think you can understate Fessenden's impact on genre filmmaking. Be it as writer/director or producer, he's involved in some amazing work. And if a film features him in a cameo, it's an added bonus.

Tendency to be horrible to females? I've worked with Robin many a time. A gentle soul who is genuinely interested in people. Always have a laugh and a good chat when we run into each other backstage. Have heard no negative reports in the 20 years+ I have known him. To put it more simply: Bullshit.
