Trump earlier this year: Kimberly Guilfoyle has been my friend for a long time. I love calling her Kimberlay. That’s my little pet name, right? I hope you come back here in 12 years or whenever the term ends. Trump today: She was not a member of my family. I guess she dated my son a long time ago.

@realDonaldTrump

Today, I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Kimberly Guilfoyle as the United States Ambassador to Greece. For many years, Kimberly has been a close friend and ally. Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics along with her sharp intellect make her supremely qualified to represent the United States, and safeguard its interests abroad.

Kimberly is perfectly suited to foster strong bilateral relations with Greece, advancing our interests on issues ranging from defense cooperation to trade and economic innovation.

Congratulations Kimberly!

a big reason (though not the only one) that so many elite institutions capitulated to Trump immediately in early 2025 is they had learned through long experience that Dems are too chickenshit to punish them for basically any reason. but things can change!

A simple "I'm sorry, Your Honor, for causing our line attorneys to lie to you over and over in court" will suffice, Acting Deputy AG McCotter.
The Department of Justice is proud to have attorneys—like the one here—who keep their poise and respectful demeanor, even in the face of judges who unfortunately fail to reciprocate. The ethics canons require judges to maintain an appropriate temperament; a few fall far short.

What's the difference between:

A: Transwomen
B: Women

Let the "tolerant" crowd explain this one. I'll grab
popcorn.

Trans is an adjective. It's a descriptor. Like tall or fast
or smart. A trans woman is just a woman who was
assigned male at birth and then transitioned at some
point in her life. Just like a tall woman is a woman
who is taller than the average woman. It's just an
adjective. It's really not that complicated.

For instance you are a stupid, bigoted man. Whereas
I am a cool and nice man. We're both men. I'm just
kind of a better type of man.

Agreed, though I think that many people in the center and on the left have a romanticized sense that synthesis can be achieved by these conversations. People on the right, in my experience, see arguments from the left as beneath contempt.
