'The owl’s head... was made separately and does not directly attach to the backing. Instead, a small copper rod extends from the head into the bird’s body. This would have permitted the head to rotate from side to side when the object was moved.' #OwlishMonday

Today: started a re-watch of SAPPHIRE & STEEL. And episode 1 is amazing. Only 25 mins & everything is there - the setting, the characters, the dread, “Time is a corridor...” And some of the camerawork is amazing too - those first shots tracking through the house! Absolutely masterful television.
