But I think it's a mistake to use that to conclude they're crazy, delusional, or just engaged in hype to make money. As in climate, there is evidence in the world to assess and there is a ton of mounting real-world evidence that this is a technology that is getting much more powerful and dangerous.

If it looks like an Amazon delivery and drives like an Amazon delivery, then it's an Amazon delivery, right? Not according to Amazon. Big companies like Amazon have built a vast network of subcontractors who deliver their packages while shielding them from accountability.

The Constitutional Crisis started in 2000. You've been living through it your entire adult life. The reason politics feels hopeless is by design — conservatives broke our democratic form of government to guarantee that the people cannot act against them and are continuing to break it.

this is the closest I've ever come to actually suggesting a "one neat trick" suggestion for anything, but I'm so serious here. the Virginia Constitution gives the legislature the power to set retirement ages for judges "REGARDLESS OF THE TERM TO WHICH ELECTED OR APPOINTED." make it 54 right now.

The state Constitution gives lawmakers complete latitude to set the judicial retirement age. They should use it.

“Good stewards of the American people’s tax money”: Minnesota pays more to Washington in taxes than it gets back. “Good stewards” don’t steal people’s money and spit in their faces.
A map of the United States colored to indicate which states, as of 2022, paid more in taxes per capita than they received in federal spending, and vice versa. The states that paid more than they received, from west to east, were:

California, Washington, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Minnesota, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire.
