Extremely random. If you can adopt a senior dog or cat, please do so. Yes, they’re more work, but it is WORTH IT. Allow them to feel comfort, love, and joy as they spend their remaining years with you safely. They deserve that, and are so regularly skipped over. They will become amazing companions!

Oh no. Coral is up for adoption at my local shelter, and by all accounts, she appears to be a very good girl.

A medium sized mutt, white with brindle patches over each eye/ear and on her muzzle. She's wagging her tail so fast it's blurring behind her, but she's sitting very hopefully with one paw up on the photographer's knee.

Picking my dad up at his empty church parking lot and we spied a woman looking under her car hood. She’d pulled in because she heard meowing. It took us over an hour but we managed to rescue from her undercarriage this absolutely livid creature who very quickly calmed down in my hands. A great day.

Built cities behind my eyes,
Populated them with kinder people,

As a child,
They called it make-believe.
As an adult,
They ask more questions.
