I have a Big Ask from our community. Many of you will remember our graduates Pikachu and Eevee, who were adopted together. Eevee had dealt with some very challenging chronic diarrhea while she was a kitten, but before adoption, we figured out a food that worked for her & she was all better (thread)

Someone should really, really adopt Cid. This cat is the kind of cat who will take your love and return it tenfold. I don’t have enough words for him— kind, curious, charming, full of personality & presence. This is the kind of cat who will be someone’s soul cat. Elkton, MD. Apply: bit.ly/4cOmi21

Bentley has been the last holdout of the Auto Club kitties- he’d admit that humans were okayish to be around in terms of snack distribution, but scritches and pets were ENTIRELY off the table. He’s been in foster for a full year now and today we finally had a breakthrough!! 😭❤️

The calls for help don’t stop coming and we are still in desperate need of a couple more fosters. We supply everything you need and handle all the vet care and adoptions, you just give them a safe place to land for a few weeks. We have a request for these 6 plus a friendly mom & 5 babies. I love the reaction of cat lovers upon seeing a cat. Every single time the level of excitement is like they've read about cats for decades but never actually seen one in real life and they're SO EXCITED. Every. Single Time. Even if it's the hundredth cat they've seen that day.

With Cid making such good progress & not going back to his colony, he’s taking up the space I had planned to use for Kickstand, which leaves me looking for someone who wants to foster Kicks (or Cid!) He needs someone experienced socializing shy cats, preferably close to Newark, DE.

What is our responsibility in rescue, where does TNR end? Cid here is the last male cat we had left to fix at Final Fantasy colony. In October, he was a large, robust beefy guy. By January, he was just a shadow of himself, frail & thin. He evaded us until now, and limped under the drop trap at last.

In a sea of 2025 impact wrap-ups, here is ours. It’s little, and a few cases left me a bit broken, but it’s still good. Last year we took 80 cats into our care (not including cats we TNR’d). Almost all of them were adopted (still waiting for the Auto Club cats). Rescues, surrenders, low-income help—

Jorts Junior, “J.J.”, a cute orange tabby cat with soft looking fur and suspicious looking eyes. He was our first rescue of 2025. He was adopted with Baby Ruth, and they are both living their best lives as Archie & Greg.

Winter, a skinny grey and white kitten. He was being sold on FB because the people “didn’t want him any more” and it stressed the entire internet out. He was adopted by his foster through Animal Rescue League near Baltimore in a great team up with Show Your Soft Side and ARL

Satsuma and his sister Tangerine, two orange tabby cats who look very worried right after being trapped.

Ellie, originally named “Molly,” a longhaired tortico cat with long white whiskers. She remains missing in the SE DC/Temple Hill, MD area. Her moms miss her so much and so do we.
