I appreciate the possibility of putting to the test whether something doesn't replicate because of 'tacit knowledge', as has sometimes been claimed. OTOH, we're not all going to wear head-mounted cameras (or eye-trackers) while doing science, are we?

Back in late 2020, in my capacity as director of a new Neuroscience Ph.D. program, I led an effort to apply for an NIH T32 G-RISE grant. It was rejected, then I handed it off to my co-PIs before they resubmitted it (in quite a hurry), it was rejected again, but recently we heard that it was funded!
