They're desperate to trivialise the world by splitting everything and everyone into "Goodies" or "Baddies" - and both sides can't both be "Baddies" even though they all are.

Ask your MP to stand up for our future in Europe
On 12 October, Parliament will debate the UK's future relationship with Europe, after a government petition got over 100,000 signatures. Will you write to your MP to ask them to attend the debate?

Seems moral and ethical to me, provided you use it to improve the presentation of your property for the next people, only. Getting honest feedback instead of the estate agent's lies FTW. Separately, loads of people have indoor security cams. Viewers should expect this.

Privatisation was a success. Apart from the debt, the sewage, the failing infrastructure, the struggling companies and the public being asked to pay to repair it all. One hesitates to ask what failure would have looked like.

Happy tenth anniversary to the time the Reading Chronicle didn’t know what a plant room is.
Crane disruption
AN enormous crane that will lift a room full of plants into a 14 sto-rey building will close town cen-tre roads in October.
Station Road and Garrard Street will be shut and Friar Street and Blagrave Street reversed between 5am October 15 and 5am October 17. The temporary measures will allow contractors working on the Thames Tower to install a 500 tonne crane that will put a prefabricated plant room onto the roof of the building.

Burnham absolutely should aim for a much closer relationship with the EU rather than just tinkering around at the edges, and dropping the red lines will be key to this. Rejoining the EU must be one of the options to now be considered, as Brexit had failed. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
Quoted text from Guardian article on 29th September 2026 "In his strongest hint yet that he will look again at Britain’s membership of the bloc, he said he would use the EU summit to set out a path to a far more long-term relationship, rather than new sectoral deals.

“We will not give Britain the clear path we need into the rest of this century until we decide on a long-term relationship with what is still our largest market,” he said.

“I cannot say to you truthfully that where we are is good enough. Brexit has done more harm than good. We need to restore a high level of growth and prosperity for Britain.”
