The UK government’s Cygnus Report (2016, but publication delayed until 2020) highlighted major gaps in the UK’s ability to manage a large‑scale pandemic—particularly around surge capacity, social care resilience, and coordination between agencies. Why was publication delayed?

Brewer had years to ask these questions but instead chose to tell us the sun shone from Farage's butt, now at last he's being called out for the spiv that he is she doesn't want any part of it. When they start attacking each other it's a joy to watch.

Women are too often dismissed when it comes to their health told it’s “anxiety”, “your age” or “all tests are normal” #LongCovid is following a pattern many women already know. Women living with Long Covid deserve to be heard, believed and supported. #IWD2026 #NoMoreGaslighting
Graphic for March 8th International Women’s Day. The Long Covid SOS logo appears at the top in awareness day colours. Beneath it, “March 8th International Women’s Day” in teal and underneath in a lighter teal shade “Women living with Long Covid and other invisible illnesses deserve to be heard, believed and supported”
“No more gaslighting” in orange italics.
At the bottom the image shows layered silhouettes of diverse women in profile, in different colours and hairstyles to represent solidarity and shared experience. A faint lifering motif from the Long Covid SOS logo forms the background. And at the bottom left text reads “#IWD2026”

A big part of the authoritarian playbook is war. War takes over the news. War blots out criticism. War divides a nation’s people, subjecting those against it to being called unpatriotic. War grants leaders all sorts of emergency powers. War consumes everything else. We mustn’t let this war do so.

#Imbolc
Imbolc marks the midway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox... an ancient Celtic turning of the year when the light begins its slow return.

Celebrated long before modern calendars, it honors the subtle awakening of the land, the seeds emerging beneath the frozen soil and signs of life stirring after the long dark nights. This was a time of tending small fires and honoring Brigid, keeper of the flame and guardian of healing waters.

Imbolc reminds us that rebirth does not arrive loudly. It comes softly, through patience and faith... through trusting what cannot yet be seen, and remembering that life is always moving back towards the light.

Looking down on the city port Skopelos on the island of Skopelos, Greece.

The white buildings are arranged in an amphitheater way, climbing one of the mountains. The sea is met with a large retaining wall. Lush green forests fill the landscape.

The movie Mama Mia was filmed here so I watched that shit on the flight home. Meh.

This is also a field test. If the press lets them muddy the waters on executing a woman in Minneapolis despite multiple witnesses and video recordings clearly depicting what happened, the message they'll take away is that there's nothing they can't get away with. Nothing.

The reason Gold Bullion Direct paid Farage over £400,000 is because they know his followers are really gullible. But this comment is particularly ridiculous. If I'm out walking a dog & it starts chasing wildlife, I control it. I don't encourage it to chase things down and rip them to pieces.
