🚨 Today is the date of my first solo publication. 🚨 You'd expect seasoned organizers to be the quickest to turn broad public support into electoral engagement. But in 2020, it was newer organizers who pushed their supporters toward electoral politics.

Any system where outcomes depend on how you draw the lines on the map instead of how voters actually vote is a bad system. Drawing majority-minority districts was only, even at its best, the less-bad option within the fundamentally bad system of predetermining results via the tyranny of the map.
