Swans are not business geese however, you can get one to act as a substitute goose briefly
Data from Star Trek The Next Generation with his head tilted slightly labeled "me, a silly goose" second panel is Captain Picard holding his head in his hands labeled "serious business goose"

Sometimes my wife and I like to send each other text messages as though they’re democratic fundraising messages, and I believe she has produced the jewel of the form.
, it's
and I
have some personal news to share with you.
Being a mom is one of the greatest joys of my life, and I feel deeply that we should have salad tonight
This year has been challenging in many ways, and I have immense gratitude for the kindness and support of family, community, and people like you who have continued to stand by me through everything. It means the world, and I wanted you to be among the first to know that squash is in the oven and kale is in the fridge. As many of you are aware, ve been navigating one of the most challenging periods of my day while waiting for dinner.
Facing baseless federal hunger brought on by not eating since lunch, fighting for the working kids of this country, and now caring for a mean toddler and helping him grow up in a world that isn't always easy. But it has also reminded me exactly why I do this work and who I do it for.
I will never stop working to eat dinner. I will never stop fighting for what is right, even when there is also some feta in the fridge. And I will never stop being so very thankful that you are by my side in this important work and that there is tahini in the pantry for dressing
With love and gratitude,
stop to end

Scramble for Assets
The Trump administration imposed sanctions on Lukoil a year ago, describing the move as new pressure on Mr. Putin to "stop the killing." It also created a lucrative opportunity: Lukoil was forced to sell off its sprawling portfolio of international holdings.
Investors around the world scrambled to bid on the assets, but the U.S.
government held veto power because it controlled how to enforce its sanctions.
Because of Russia's autocratic system, Mr. Putin was seen as the final decision maker in Moscow.
The bidding frenzy accelerated last November, when the Treasury

Today I learned that everyone makes $62k/yr. Whew! what a relief to learn wage gap is solved, now that we have enough "legroom." We just need more technological innovation to keep this trend going...eg, self-checkout at CVS! Yep! Drugstore shopping is going great I'm sure, no need to check on that.

Basing the rest of the tree in changed the contrast balance, so deepening shadows & lightening highlights as the tree leafs out. The contrast between the solidity of the tower & the softer, pointillist tree is evident. In progress: "Tower (block)", oil on canvas, 12x16" #wip #painting #canadianart
A painting of an apartment building, tall warm grey with columns of small windows & balconies against a cool blue sky. The right side of the building is facing the sunset, glowing warm yellow. In front of the building a large, green, leafy tree is beginning to take shape, getting darker as it gets to the bottom. An indication of a red leafed tree is being sketched in in the foreground.

Country music--and claiming you do it don't live it or hate it--is a certain kind of provocative that naturally binds with smug and anxiety receptors in the millennial who used to read the New York Times. That's all, my Sunday is too short to stay on social media any more.
