A local NM event in my town brought in a mobile museum. It had this poster from early statehood history and made me think of John Green's newest book, Everything is Tuberculosis. Still applicable today.

I appreciate how the Indiana Jones game understands and emulates the unreality of the films. Enemies do a big "WHOAOAOH" animation when pushed off a ledge. A glass bottle will knock a guy out as consistently as a lump hammer. It's action theater. Everything that happens must be big and cool and fun

my biggest 2024 breakthrough: discovering that scarecrows aren't real. crops are just SO much easier to steal now. i used to pull up one or two turnips and run off, but i'm not scared anymore. the only challenge ahead of me in 2025 is to keep from eating so many turnips i give myself a stomach ache

I found this delightful little cat in Old Town ABQ. So soft. So sleepy.

My husband and I are so unreasonably excited for Sonic the Hedgehog 3. We loved the first two, and Sonic Adventure 2 is in his top 5 favorite games. I know some of the lore, but I'm still going to try and avoid spoilers ✨️ I can't even remember watching the tailors... I don't think I did.
