This Wednesday I am running Viral for one final, very last time - and perhaps the most important people of all: my regular group of friends - some I have known for 30+ years. Yes, I never ran it for them at the time because we were playing something else. #VIRAL

So, looked into getting LASIK (I’m really not fond of having to wear glasses). It looks like I will need lens implants which is north of £8K… 😕 I have some savings but it’s going to be a couple of years unless my channel/membership/Patreon suddenly explodes.

Age verification? I remember Dubble Bubble chewing gum. It tasted like Germolene and you got a "smiley" tattoo with it that had to removed with a belt sander.

Love this - Slipknot's drummier, Eloy Casagrande, overcome with emotion when meeting his hero Bill Ward from Black Sabbath the other day.

Watching Olivia Rodrigo, who is essentially a goddess, and then Robert Smith walked on, to whit my eldest said “he looks like a horror movie uncle” 🤣🤣🤣

So... given recent events in the US, are any of my American followers *genuinely* thinking of relocating in another country?

Gotta say, for a 67 year old, Gary Numan is killing it at Glastonbury.

The sequel to Viral - VERMIS is currently sat at 135 pages long and we're still not done. It's going to be a big honking book!

Playtesting Vermis last night and something was revealed that literally made the players gasp in surprise.

The price of Spelljammer stuff on eBay baffles me. You *literally* could not give it away back in the day.

Hopefully, you have now found peace in that horribly troubled mind of yours. 😥

430 subscribers off 10,000!!! When I started my channel it was to just talk about games and get sent the odd thing for free to review. I never thought I would get 500 subs - never mind almost ten thousand. I know 430 seems a lot, but it’s really not that many at this point.

OK - UKGX mini-haul. Fist up - a print @pookie-uk.bsky.social picked up for me from ChaosiumCon of Nysalor: The God of Truth and Lies. It's signed by @katrindirim.bsky.social. Just ordered a frame for it.

Back from the UK Games Expo. Knackered but happy. Saw a lot of my favourite gaming pals today and got some nice bits.

Taking my 12-year old daughter to the Expo on Saturday, so fair warning - if you get a prickle on the back of you neck and feel like you are getting silently judged and feel yourself getting snidely side-eyed, have a look around. It’s probably her.

Part one of GRU-SV8 written and audio recorded. This is going to be a heavy one, and I am no doubt going to get my Russian pronunciation laughed at, but what the hell. YouTube Members and Patrons will get it a week before everyone else.
