It's great to hear the new trains on TransPennine Express will deliver independent boarding for more passengers. We need step-free access to the platform and level boarding everywhere so disabled passengers can travel with ease and confidence, instead of having to wait for Passenger Assistance.

To a point, it is. Though compared to other companies, I do trust Apple to make some effort to actually anonymize and not overreach on its collection. I’m more concerned about third party apps. That said, I use a DNS service on all my devices to block telemetry domains used by Apple and others.

Oh, it is. Some are less worse than others though. A separate box limits the collection a degree, because it can’t see external video inputs such as a TV channels, games, or a computer display. Definitely be wary of apps and voice control options regardless of the device.
