As another Nor'easter rolls in my theory of it being a Croatian Jugo (in mood) gets stronger. In Dalmatia the jugo is blamed for that feeling of blah, bad moods, and fatigue. I feel the same every Nor'easter here in New England

It's that time of year again... Spending our mornings under the sun lamp. It's a winter ritual that has become immensely important since moving to the North East. We're on day 2 this year. I'm enjoying hanging in the 70s room for it.

A room with a record self, dog beds, a chair, and a sun lamp on.

I truly, deeply, sincerely do think the guy flipping burgers at McDonalds should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That's kind of the whole point of having a job and I can't believe this is considered a radical position.🤷🏽‍♀️

Asked a neighbor how many trick-or-treaters we get and she said none! We're on a dead end street, but I never expected none! Parents, would "trick-or-treating this way" signs at the end of the street help?

The most absolutely massive flex from the state fair exhibit. This quilt is made of 40 years of prize ribbons from various categories at the New Mexico State Fair won by Carol St. Clair Johnson. She also won a prize for this quilt.

After unexpectedly winning her first blue ribbon for a sewn cape in 1981, Carol St. Clair Johnson developed an enduring love for the New Mexico State Fair. The quilt Fair New Mexico-41 Fair Years incorporates more than six hundred of the ribbons she won at the fair every subsequent year except 2020 (when the fair was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic). Johnson earned ribbons for needlework, knitting, crochet, pies, cookies, cakes, canning, jewelry, flowers, vegetables, and potted plants. The title of the quilt is a reference to the state song, and the design places the state's Zia sun symbol at the center. The quilt earned Johnson yet another ribbon: Best in Category (miscellaneous quilt) at the 2023 New Mexico State Fair.

We had a great day trip to Boston with the help of this thread. We also have several more places we are planning for future day trips to visit. Yesterday we enjoyed Elephants on the Commons, the Victory Garden in the Fens, and MFA Boston. Thanks to everyone for all the recommendations!

I would use nail glue instead of super glue. It's the same strength, but for nail beds. I would also recommend seeing a GP to see if they can do anything. I also would not trust nail glue on a guitar finger for this, but it still might be your best bet.
