Check out our new paper! We found general chronic pain is genetically linked to broad addiction liability, while musculoskeletal pain shows more substance-specific genetic associations, particularly with tobacco and alcohol use. Link: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/share/author...

We lay out three consensuses from the field of psychiatric genetics that should be considered before approving genetic tests for psychiatric disorders.
