You can now update bioRxiv/medRxiv preprints with funding information after the fact. Authors often omit/don't have all funding info when submitting, but funders understandably want it there. This solves the problem without requiring you to submit a whole new paper. openrxiv.org/updating-fun...

If Trump was being manipulated by his Russian handlers, this decision would make a lot of sense. Russia needs North Korea’s help in Ukraine right now, so Putin would want to make North Korea feel less threatened by the US. Is this idea really so far fetched?

Of course this RFI drops late on Friday. NIH proposes to stop providing specific scores and instead bin grants into 3 broad categories: most competitive, competitive, not discussed. A score would be calculated but not provided to the PI (or PO). grants.nih.gov/grants/guide...
