People love threatening to murder people for legally riding bikes. Of course drivers regularly hit cyclists riding in painted bike lanes or shoulders. It's almost like motorists don't need any excuse to inflict violence upon bicyclists.

It's amazing how some people dehumanize others simply for choosing a transportation method that doesn't involve a car. They also hate traffic and other drivers, while simultaneously seething with rage at anyone walking, cycling, or proposing we fund better public transit.

Keep your beverage in your briefcase until the interview is underway. If nobody offers you a beverage, that’s a red flag. Pulling out your own to take a swig acknowledges your recognition of their failure to be a gracious host, while demonstrating forward-thinking and preparation. Power move.

Yesterday when I was riding to my coworking office, a guy in a Q5 gave me a scary, completely unnecessary close pass when I was going downhill on Rosecrans Blvd. And when we both got to the next red light he lowered his window to yell at me to get on the sidewalk, even though that's illegal in MB.
