Another thing about fraternities is that the hazing rituals where slightly older young men would physically, mentally emotionally and sometimes even sexually abuse slightly younger young men have always disturbed and upset me greatly. And it’s really telling that I’ve seen men defend those too

anyone who uses un-reconfigurable image subtitles and then picks "prettier text" rather than "readable text" should be shot you should be letting the user make the decision, not assuming what they can and can't see deets in the alt-text
